Roxanne Donovan is Professor of Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies at Kennesaw State University and a licensed psychologist in Georgia.
She is passionate about translating psychological research on health and wellbeing to the public and does so via blog posts, tweets, media appearances, and publications. Her own scholarship examines how socio-structural variables, like race and gender, impact the mental health of people of color, particularly Black women.
Roxanne earned her PhD and MA in Clinical psychology and Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Connecticut. She also earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Miami and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University. In her previous life, she worked in industry as a national sales representative and a negotiator for AT&T.
